Corrections Policy
How readers can report an error, how evidence is reviewed, and how material corrections are disclosed.
Updated 2026-07-25 · Reviewed and maintained by Maham Yousuf Zai
1. Our Commitment
Top 10 Gummies aims to correct material factual errors promptly and transparently. Candy formulas, package sizes, certifications, product names, availability, and manufacturer pages can change, so a previously accurate statement can become outdated. We treat a good-faith update as useful evidence, not as criticism to be ignored.
2. What Counts as a Correction
A correction addresses a factual statement that was inaccurate, unsupported, materially incomplete, or attributed to the wrong source at the time of publication or latest review. Examples include:
- An incorrect product name, flavor, package quantity, maker, or market.
- An ingredient, allergen, gelatin, certification, or dietary statement not supported by the cited evidence.
- A broken or mismatched source that changes the basis of a recommendation.
- A quotation, image credit, date, calculation, or attribution assigned incorrectly.
- A ranking explanation that does not match the criteria stated in the article.
A difference of taste or opinion is not normally a factual error. We may still clarify wording when a reasonable reader could mistake an editorial judgment for a verified fact.
3. How to Submit a Correction
Email [email protected] with the subject "Correction Request." A useful request includes:
- The complete URL of the page.
- The exact sentence, table row, image, or ranking at issue.
- Why it appears inaccurate and the correct information.
- A current package photo, manufacturer page, certification record, or other primary source.
- The exact product variant and country or market when those details differ.
A retailer listing can help establish current stock or pack format, but it may not be sufficient by itself to settle an ingredient, allergen, or certification question.
4. Review Process
The editor checks the live page, the source originally used, the new evidence, and the article's stated method. We may contact the manufacturer, certification organization, rights holder, or person who submitted the report for clarification. Commercial status does not give a source control over the outcome.
We aim to acknowledge a complete request within five business days. Straightforward errors may be corrected sooner; disputed label, rights, or certification questions can take longer. Reports involving a serious allergen, misidentification, or rights concern are prioritized. This target is a service standard, not a contractual guarantee.
5. Correction Levels
Minor edits include spelling, punctuation, formatting, a repaired internal link, or wording that does not alter the substance. These changes may be made without a visible correction note or a new updated date.
Material corrections affect a recommendation, product identity, label-sensitive claim, source interpretation, ranking rationale, quotation, or reader decision. We revise the affected passage, re-check connected sections, update the review date, and add a clear note when readers would benefit from knowing what changed.
6. Updates Are Different from Corrections
A product can change after an accurate article was published. Replacing an old flavor, package, formula, or certification with current information is an update, not necessarily a correction. Meaningful updates receive a new review date and should identify the new evidence. We do not refresh dates only to make an unchanged page appear recent.
7. Ranking and Opinion Disputes
A brand or reader may disagree with a ranking. We will correct the underlying facts or inconsistent application of stated criteria, but we do not promise to change an editorial conclusion simply because another party prefers a different result. Relevant counter-evidence can be added when it materially helps readers understand the tradeoff.
8. Rights, Images, and Attribution
Copyright, image, trademark, or attribution concerns should identify the exact material, page URL, claimed owner, basis of the claim, and requested resolution. We may temporarily remove disputed material while a credible notice is reviewed. Good-faith concerns are handled on their evidence; knowingly false notices may be rejected.
9. Appeals and Unresolved Concerns
If you believe a request was misunderstood, reply with the original subject line and explain what evidence or point was missed. Maham Yousuf Zai will perform a second review of the available record. Because this is an independently edited publication, the final wording and ranking remain editorial decisions unless law requires otherwise.
10. Transparency and Related Standards
Material corrections remain part of our editorial record through the page's updated date and, when appropriate, a correction note. Our sourcing, review, automation, and independence rules are described in the Editorial Policy. Use the Contact page for privacy, commercial, accessibility, or general questions that are not correction requests.
